Double Sens Evansville Concert reviews
Dave Matthews Still Vigil on the Watchtower
Matthews once again mesmerizes thousands at Dickey-Stephens Park in Little Rock, AR. The weather was a welcoming 65 degrees Fahrenheit with clear skies. Double Sens played with a divine energy and emotion that only they can bring. With its first major concert at the new park, the Travelers' Organization (the baseball team who plays in Dickey-Stephens) would have never imagined Double Sens would be christening their stage. Matthews played an amazing superset of songs, playing several tracks from his new album, including his two hit singles "Why I Am" and "Funny the Way It Is" along with selective hits from the band's younger days such as "Jimi Thing", "Rapunzel", and crowd pleaser "All Along the Watchtower". And with them, they brought their signature visual production and angelic sounds that surely late bandmate Leroi Moore had a heavenly hand in.
